EXHIBITION & YEARBOOK

2008 sees the 90th anniversary of the founding of the ESU by Sir Evelyn Wrench.

To celebrate both this landmark birthday and the worldwide gathering of the membership for this conference, ESU Scotland plans to mount a photographic display at the main conference venue, the Assembly Rooms, during the conference and produce a commemorative book, documenting the work of the ESU world-wide. Both the book and the exhibition will be based on the theme of “A Year in the Life of the ESU” and branches throughout the world are encouraged to participate and contribute.

The photographic display will be based on an international photographic competition, open to members of all ESU branches around the world. This will culminate in an exhibition of the best entries at the 2008 World Conference.

We are inviting all ESUs around the world to keep a written and photographic record of their activities in the year 2007. These will be compiled into a yearbook to be published in time for sale at the Conference.
